Consistency is the magic word.

Creating a marketing plan for your company is overwhelming and can leave some people questioning what the hell they are doing. I promise you, it's not as bad as you may think!

When it comes to creating an online strategy for your marketing, consistency is key. It is honestly the best thing that you can do. You can have every social media network under the sun, spend a gazillion on ads but if you are now showing up on your networks and creating those relationships, it is a waste of time. You don't have to be on every social network. You don't have to pay for all of those Facebook Ads. Stop staring at your analytics. Close the laptop, take a break and rethink. 

Everyone wants that dreamy marketing plan with colorful charts and numbers. This isn't really that dreamy but I promise it is effective. Being consistent is the best thing that you can do for your company and your clients. 

You may saying to yourself, "Caity what the hell are you talking about?"

I'm talking about building trust. Make a promise to yourself and your company that you will blog a certain amount of times a week/month/whatever works for you. Do the same for your social media networks. Stick to that promise. DO NOT BREAK THAT PROMISE.  It's going to be tough but after a few weeks, you are going to notice a difference. 

There's more to consistency then just posting. Be consistent with your message and your writing voice. If your brand is not consistent, it instantly gives your audience a red flag. Be clear on who you are, what your company is offering and your overall voice. Everything you create should sound like you.
